World War II was the bloodiest conflict in history. On June 28, 1919 the Great War ended from the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. The second World War began in 1939. The war was international. World War II was atrocious because of everything happening in Europe, Pearl Harbor, and the Holocaust.
World War II in Europe began when Hitler’s Nazi Germany attacked Poland.
