We all have different kind of needs, wants, personalities and ways to show emotions ourselves. If we hope to get success in life then we need to navigate through these all with tactfully and cleverly. The highly intelligent people are more successful as compared to other because they know the perception and feeling of others, this characteristic help them to manage the relationship effectively and get success. Why emotional intelligence is important?Probably we know some people who are toppers of universities and yet unsuccessful at their work and interpersonal relationships.
Intellectual intelligence can help us to get admission in to university or college but emotional intelligence help us to manage emotions and stress during exams. Emotional intelligence creates self awareness, self regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills in people. Let’s start with self awareness, is the most important part of emotional intelligence.

The next most important key element of emotional intelligence is empathy. Empathetic people are excellent at listening others and managing relationships because they recognize the feelings of others, even when those feelings may not be apparent. These kinds of people live their life in open and honest way and avoid judging others too quickly.
Moreover, with emotional intelligence people learn social skills; they focus to help others at first rather than their own success. They build and maintain relationships with excellent communication and also able to manage the disputes in perfect manner. Furthermore, emotional intelligence plays a pivotal role in every part of our life. Nowadays, multinational companies requires EQ testing before hiring to enhance the productivity and improve up selling of product that is only possible because of intelligence of social skills. Additionally, emotionally strong people know how to relieve stress and cope up with different types of stress levels very easily.
It facilitates physical and mental health of person and reduces a lot of diseases like hypotension, hypertension, heart attack, stroke, suppressed immunity, mood alteration and early onset of aging. It decreases the anxiety and depression and makes us strong to manage loneliness. In addition, emotional intelligence helps to build interpersonal relationships with family, friends and colleagues.
