A corporation can be defined as a group of sub-ordinates where they perform as a single entity. Across the world it can be seen that corporations are being run to perform different types of businesses. Facebook, Apple, Samsung, Nike and Adidas are some of the examples one can think about when talking about corporations. Therefore, a corporation is often seen having similar rights and responsibilities if not identical that an individual acquires. When we talk about whether a corporation can be held socially responsible we then have to look at certain aspects before we can make a judgement. Those aspects are seen as the views of corporate social responsibility and those views are narrow and broad views. In a narrow view we are accustomed to focus on one thing which how we can maximise the profits whereas on the other hand in broader view we are accustomed towards social purposes.
