Definition of labour force are consists of all the people who are able to work in a country or area, or all the people who work for a particular company or the total number of people who are eligible to work including employed and unemployed people of a country and world. In the others word, labour force are everyone that being classified as employed or unemployed Meanwhile Labour Force Participation Rate are percentage of working age person who are employed or searching for a job. LFPR is a measuring tools to an economy’s active labor force and is the sum of all employed workers divided by the working age population. It refers to the number of people who are either employed or are actively looking for work. We will see the data of labour force and LFPR in Malaysia between 2015 and 2018.
In 2015, the labour force are 14.5 million and the LPFR are 67.9% in total where 80.6% are male and 54.1% are women. 14.1 million are the employed person and the unemployed person are 450,300 million. 6.9 million working age population were the outside of labour force due to studies, housework, retirement, disabilities or not interested to work. The unemployment rate as we can see are 3.1%.

In Q2 of 2018 the labour force in this period are 15,278.3 million. 933.0 million are male and 5,945.3 million are women. LFPR for male are 80.5% and 55.3% for women. Employed person for male are 9,035.6 million and 5,731.6 million are women and 14,767.2 in total. Outside of the labour force in total are 7,073.4 million where 2,259.3 million are male and 4,814.1 million are for female. Ratio for employment population are 77.9% for male and 53.3% for women.
There is no significant increase and decrease between male and female of Malaysians participation rate. In 2015, LFPR for male are 80.6% and 54.1% for women. In 2018, LFPR for male are 80.5% and 55.3% for women. There is only slight changes in between this two years.

Sarawak is located in the northwest Borneo islands was a part of Malaysia. Sarawak are the largest part of Malaysia and bordered with Sabah who are also one of the Malaysian part at the northeast and Kalimantan,Indonesia. The capital city are Kuching which is the largest city in Sarawak.
Population for Sarawak are 2.77 million since the last census. 1.44 million male and 1.32 million female. Average annual population growth (%) during this year are 1.0% decrease compare to previous year. Birth and death rate are not provided in this year as we can see in the picture.
